Soon you will be able to send bitcoin to people by just typing in their name and .crypto at the end.

Steem/steemit already does this.

It's being praised as some major advancement in crypto, but we've had it for almost 4 years on steem, oh well.

What do you do if someone has the same name as you?

I assume you will still need to get the name that person has used on their wallet for it to work.
