Loyalty

Loyalty is a quality that warriors presented from ancient times related to honor and fidelity to a king or belief. Any king or ruler would want loyal subjects, loyal to his cause. This would give you greater security and protection, but loyalty to honor is something you can't buy, so how can a ruler obtain loyal subdits? This is where the term loyalty reward came from, kings began to reward their loyal servants, this not only motivated them to maintain their loyalty but also allowed others to strive to be loyal.

The benefits of loyalty helped maintain kingdoms, but how did this principle get into the market world? For stores and market brands it is very difficult and expensive to attract new customers, if you must make a large investment in advertising, apply discounts to products and launch attractive promotional campaigns to potential customers. But once these are attracted, a mechanism must be created to maintain them, what better mechanism than the one used successfully in antiquity, the incentive to loyalty.

Customer Loyalty Programmes

In 1896 S & H Green Stamps was one of the first customer loyalty programs. Reaching its zenith in the 1960s and 1970s. S & H began to reward its customers for their loyalty by giving each customer green stamps that they could redeem for a large amount of consumer goods. This form of non-monetary reward, or "alternative currency", reached a certain value, as this alternative currency has become today's customer loyalty programmes.
According to Jupiter Research, more than 75% of today's consumers have at least one loyalty card, and the number of people with two or more is estimated to be one third of the shopping population. According to Gartner, U.S. companies spent more than $1.2 trillion on customer loyalty programs in 2003 alone. Loyalty programs have been a solution to retain customers, it is a benefit to the store and to the consumer who receives something extra at no additional cost which encourages them to continue shopping in the same store. However, today's loyalty programmes have a major drawback.

Loyalty points earned in store A cannot be used in store B. If a customer visits a perfume store, a shoe store, a clothing store, a wallet store and many other possible options, the result will be many loyalty cards. It is uncomfortable for the customer not to be able to unify all the points in a single card, this would offer great benefits and attract a greater number of customers.

qiibee Solution

qiibee is conformed by a team of experts that since 2015 have been working on the mission of creating a platform that allows to unify the loyalty reward programs to give more benefits to the strategy allowing the customer to use the points received in different stores even if they have not come from this one. To this end, qiibee uses the innovative blockchain technology to create a token that can serve as a common basis for rewarding customers. source: qiibee whitepapers, page 11
Blockchain technology has revolutionized our era with great contributions at the level of financial strategies allowing the creation of decentralized platforms that translate into a better distribution of rewards, in addition to providing the security and transparency of smart contracts, this has allowed greater reliability to users.
