If you want to send a person money there are no faster ways to do it then to send the person Cryptocurrency. As long as the other person has a wallet address for that particular Cryptocurrency then the other person could be on the other side of the world and it would take seconds for the other person to start receiving the money.

There is no middleman involved so if you receive a large sum of money you won't get your bank account shut down due to government thinking you are doing something illegal. This can be helpful if someone owes you a large amount of money and you don’t want your bank account to be closed.
