I dont really see that possibility
ripple=fast cheap and lots of tps (transactions per second)
btc=slow expensive and few tps
ripple is better
But to reach the dollar value of bitcoin seems counter productive to the concept of ripple. IF Bitcoin was to drastically drop, there could be some even playing ground to work off of.
I really hope so with my holdings.
