Backdata to work out this crazy system

in #crypto7 years ago

Hi Steemians, so a good friend of mine is coming over for a few days from Melbourne (Aust) to spend a few days in our home town of Sunny Perth. To catch up, enjoy some nice Australian Shiraz, and then nerd out on numbers. He's also a forex nut but is quite new to crypto. However, he is really a guru with building EA's on the MT4 platform and data analysis. So we're taking a few days out to try and test some theories we have, and throw together some basic machine trading. All going well, happy to share with the community in a more formal post to come the results. One of the theories we can mostly all rely on to some degree, is what I term Red Tuesday. It's proven moreso lately to be a scary time to be in the markets, unless your buying. We know this is due to world markets coming back online late Mon/Tues (depending on location) and that jittery uncertainty causes a selloff back to fiat with many nervous crypto owners, but let's look for some patterns.

What I could use a hand with, from the many crypto crazies in our community that I follow, is there a 'reliable' data source where we can get our hands on 6 month's historical trading for a handful of cryptos? Specifically looking at:

USDBTC, USDETH, USDETC, USDLTC, USDDASH, USDSTEEM (of course!) USDXRP, and USDZEC

Would like hourly data if possible, and options of diff base currencies: AUD, EURO, GBP, RUB & CNY. If someone can point me to where I can find reliable data, happy to pay for it of course, or work with someone that is already getting this data. There's limited data available thru a few providers, but really chasing the meaty stuff. So would love some suggestions?
