Coinbase Glitch Allowed Users to Steal Unlimited Ethereum. $10k Bounty Paid for Its Discovery

Coinbase rewarded a Dutch company recently with a $10,000 bounty after they discovered a glitch allowing users to still as much ethereum as they wanted according to a report made public on March 21.

This issue revolved around exploiting a smart contract glitch that involved a faulty wallet. Technically, users were not able to credit themselves with unlimited Ethereum currency, however utilizing the smart contracts to distribute ether over a set of wallets, users could manipulate the account balance of their Coinbase account.
