My Steem Engine and Hive Engine Weekly Report July 6th
Hello world!
This past week was as boring as all my other weeks so I had plenty of time to think about my Steem-engine and Hive-engine holdings. I thought long and hard about what my goals were and what I wanted to achieve. My conclusion, I suck at this and have no clue what I'm doing. Thats fine and dandy but why and how did I come to this conclusion. Well I'll tell you.
First of all Steem-engine and Hive-engine coins have a very short existence. Trying to make decisions on price movement becomes near impossible due to the lack of past data. If you looking at say Coca-Cola stock you have decades of price data. You can look at its price based on whats going on at any given time. You can't do that so much with Steam/Hive.
Secondly I looked at my goals and discovered my goal were either to vague or to unrealistic. Goals of making money or increasing holdings are not really useful with Steem/Hive. I need to really think about 2-4 goal with a clear purpose to help with my buying and selling.
Lastly I need to rethink how much I can invest. I was investing close to nothing so gains on close to nothing is well you guessed it - close to nothing. This is made even more difficult due to my new job as head of TOYCARD which is generating, I'll let you guess. Yep, if you said close to nothing you are correct.
So moving forward this is my plan.
#1 Passive income coins such as TIPU.
#2 Focus on 3-4 coins each from Steem-engine and Hive-engine not including passive income coins.
#3 Make TOYCARD my #1 goal.
Let me expand on #3. This I believe is the best way to start increasing the amount I have to play with, as I stated before I currently make close to nothing. This has to change on my end and for a few reasons other than what is discussed in this article.
I have got a new way to display my Steem/Hive coins ready to go for next week that will be easier to read. I also have a couple other new things I'll be ready to roll out. So until then take care and have fun!
