Steem is Really Low, Probably Going Lower

Bitcoin is at $7,554.00 far from its lowest point this year which was a little below $6,000.00. But Steem at $1.17 is at its lowest price for this year, which is certainly bad news and I have no idea of why this is. Why is Steem doing so bad while BTC is actually not at such a bad level? Steem Dollars are also at their lowest for this year $1.08, but at least with SBD I know there are witnesses who are actually trying to take the price down.
At this rate I think selling or exchanging SBD for Steem might not be such a good idea, if this trend continues at some point Steem will fall below 1 Steem per USD price making SBD more valuable than Steem.
Take into account that I am infallible at making wrong predictions, every time I write something I perceive will happen it doesn't, let's hope this time I am wrong again and Steem goes up.
