My top crypto pick for % gains in 2018 is.....Musicoin ($MUSIC)
Satoshi first invented blockchain technology before he created Bitcoin. That technology is going to transform so many other industries like Bitcoin has done with the financial industry.
Blockchains eliminate middlemen, and in doing so, create an opportunity for new ideas to be tried, and some will flourish like we have never seen.
With hundreds of coins out there, finding ones with massive upside can be a daunting task, but when you find one, it makes all the work worth it.
A few months ago I came across Musicoin.

It is a blockchain for artists to connect with listeners.
Free for artists.
Free for users.
All artists, signed or unsigned, get paid per play(currently 6 cents).

I am glad you asked! Since blockchains eliminate the middleman(think Soundcloud and Itunes in this case), all of the value that the artists create stays with them as opposed to being mostly absorbed by these greedy middlemen. So even though the site may seem similar to soundcloud, it is fundamentally very different.

Soundcloud was valued between $700 million and a billion dollars.
Musicoin has a market cap under $30 million. That is a big difference.
Musicians are already starting to hear about Musicoin solely from word of mouth, with a recent week having a record 100+ artists signed up and verified.
Musicoin was created by artists, and so they have stayed pretty much under the radar as far as not having any flashy marketing pushes. Regardless, the $MUSIC blockchain is ripe for artists and labels to completely embrace with immediate and transparent earnings and someone huge in the music industry will realize that they can make 10-100x more money if they have their following press a different 'play' button.
I do not think it will take much to get Music to launch sky high, and whatever this announcement is might be enough to get the party started!

I also think we will start seeing dozens of huge music stars become vocal in promoting Musicoin in 2018 as they realize they can capture much more of their value on the Musicoin platform.

It's definitely a interesting platform, but it all depends on how quick they are to implement new features like curation rewards and to make the UIX better, because right now it's kind of a mess.
I agree that Musicoin is kind of a mess in terms of having the same 'feel' as Soundcloud, but the reality is that most of the value that the Artists will receive at Musicoin at first will be from their following that they bring to Musicoin.
They have a place where they are getting paid 10-50x more for their fans hitting play on Musicoin than on Soundcloud.
I agree but the tough part is to force your following on to a slower platform without it feeling like a Apple/U2 situation.
Fans know how much artists get screwed, so I do not think the perception will be like that.
I am going to be helping a friend of mine who is a signed artist in utilizing the platform.
Here are a few tips to artists that I think they should keep in mind.
Musicoin does not have to replace Soundcloud etc., instead first embrace the idea of a better tomorrow, many of the problems artists face for being grossly underpaid are solved by this new idea, Musicoin. It may not be as smooth as Soundcloud at the moment, but just to have a functioning platform that COULD substantially increase the earnings of every artist is worth embracing, especially when it is FREE.
Release your music a day/week on Musicoin before putting on Soundcloud. Your fans want to hear the next gem you created, and by launching it first on Musicoin and then promoting the release on your social media feeds, they will get to hear the same song they would on Soundcloud, but now you make 6 cents per play($60.00 per 1000 plays currently) as opposed to 0.0003 cents per play on Soundcloud.
Musicoin is seemless in your social media. People do not need a Musicoin account to get you credit for the play AND people can just listen by pressing the social media link without having to even go to a different screen.
This is just an opportunity. You have to work in getting your fans aware of your favorite hangout where artists are treated with the great respect they deserve. As you build your following, it will become easier and easier to see how this is the future. One that pays you well for the creations you make.
