Mine, mine, mine...
The image you see here offers a rare, and previously never-before-seen peek into my pirate treasure chest. It's usually buried, in true pirate fashion, right under an 'X' on a desert island location which can be found only by following a map which is tattooed on my scalp. You can see the sum and total of my hoard, well, the part of it not held in "paper tokens" otherwise known as "money" which sits safely, (or maybe not so safely) in the bank. There's not much in there though.
Today, I was pleased to see that the sum and total of my wealth increased a little. Well, it increased quite a lot actually, as evidenced by the image below. Take a look at my steemit account balance in USD...Impressive no?
That figure, in case you are wondering is five hundred and thirty six billion, eight hundred and nineteen million, three hundred and eighty six thousand, two hundred and ninety nine dollars and ninety seven cents. So, I feel pretty comfortable to say that...
...And that...
Now some may say that this sort of wealth will come with consequences but...
OK, so I know...there's some sort of UI problem and the USD account value will rectify itself back to the pittance I had before but give me this moment huh? This one moment to bask in the wealth I have amassed! All too soon it will be gone again, probably before you even read this and I'll be poor again...Well, maybe not poor but certainly not rich. I'm a little disappointed about it really, I was going to buy England!

Thats a nice treasure that I need to hunt :D I really love the idea of keeping silver that way, because the value of it will never go down. I am still thinking about getting it in the future.
I started small by going without a second coffee each day and saving that $3 up until I had enough to but 1 ounce of silver which took me 10 days. ($30). From there it was easy. I just went without other things I didn't need and I was able to turn those savings into silver.

Thats a good strategy. Usually I dont count what I spend, but I think I will do that instead of buying food outside.
I always count what I spend. That accountability is what allows me to indulge in non-essential spending like silver for instance.
Thats a good habit. I dont have a fixed income thats why I dont really count, but once everything is stable again I will start that habit. Hopefully soon :)
And yet my upvote is still only worth 3 cents...I'm off to a desert island now, can I borrow your map?
