Why I put some money on the HEAT-LEDGER - Blockchain 3.0

in #crypto8 years ago

First of all, this is not an investment advice, I´m just sharing some thoughts with you as I am biased on the project since I already have bought in the ICO.

Earlier this year Lisk & Waves had two very successful mega crowdfunding where Lisk raised about 15,000 Bitcoins and Waves 30,000 Bitcoins.

I invested in both of them and when the coins went on market - Lisk went up and Waves went down - that happens, it is crypto - not every ICO is a winner.

But over time, I have come to realize that the Lisk-team lack competence in the very field they are supposed to be working on which is NodeJS based applications on a 10 second blockchain, while Waves is working on a decentralized stock-exchange & crowdfunding-platform which they have no lead developer with enough special competence in that field so they are headhunting for a developer who they can spend money on basically - which is harder then one might think.

So - Lisk & Waves - Two Big Project full of Bitcoins - but no brains that can solve the obligations that would fulfill the terms of the ICO with the investors.

So while me and thousands of other investors are waiting for something to happen in Lisk & Waves - out of the blue comes "Heat Ledger" - A Finland based project that is seeking to raise 1.5m Euro which is a very modest sum of money to ask for in contrast to Lisk & Waves who got a lot more then that.

So at first I was thinking - "Heat Ledger" - Sounds like that actor from Brokeback Mountain - probably a MEME-coin, right?

But then I looked more into it and discovered that the "Heat Ledger" project has on shelf everything that Lisk & Waves do not have - but they have been concentrated locally in Finland building a userbase of 1 million crypto-user who use FIMK locally, and FIMK is a big deal over there.

The difference between this project and the Lisk & Waves project is that it is already developed, tested in Finland and used daily by a million people in the FIMK system - so I welcome it as a new member to our weird collection of funny named currencies and hope the ride will be profitable for all parties.

Sort:

Lisk and Wave have a lot of potential, but Steem is different , you don't need to trade to make money, you only have to use your creativity and imagination.

yeah, steem is absolutely fantastic & steemit is a revolution.

FIMK died long ago, sorry

Give that guy a cookie! Or not?

So this is like e.g. Guldencoin and Aurora? I do not really see what is so special about this one. For something which is supposedly so widely used it has a virtually non-existing market:
1 OpenLedger FIMK/BTC $ 167 $ 0.001392 88.83 % Recently
2 OpenLedger FIMK/EUR $ 21 $ 0.001048 11.17 % Recently

How does this fit in, am I missing something?

Steem SUPER!

their site is outstanding one i think

FIMK is fork of Nxt, If I remember that right. Though about Heat ledger, when I first heard I thought it is same as Nxt moving to Ardor, FIMK moving to Heat. Isn't that right?
