Resilient crypto currency markets

While still highly volatile by now the crypto currency markets are resilient.

Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck was hacked on Friday, 26 Jan 2018. About 523 million of NEM coins were stolen. This is about USD 534.8 million.

As a consequence NEM dropped by 25%, and recovered in less than 2 days, fully. While the overall crypto currency market dropped by 10% followed by an increase of 20%.

Within the last month the overall market dropped by 50%, followed by a recovery of 55%. While NEM dropped by 70%, and recovered by an increase of 80%.
