Crypto Language

when i got started in the crypto world everything was new for me. Because i don't know anyone that is into crypto or investing or trading for that matter. So a lot of the language was completely new and very strange to me. But has a started reading more and getting more involved i learned the meaning of some of this words and abbreviations. So i going to try to share some of those words to you in hope that it may help someone out there.

1.Whale: This is the person that has a lot of capital invested that cut be in Bitcoin or Altcoin, In steemit a has that same meeting is a person with steem power and a upvote form one of the can get you some very good rewards.1

2.Minnow: Well this one took me some time because the first time i heard it was here in steemit. This a person who is starting out is the opposite of a whale in a other words a small fish.2

3.ICO: This a abbreviation for Initial Coin Offering this term is used for start ups crypto coins or tokens. Is there way to get funding to develop the project by offering there coins in advance in a discount price.3

4.Bullish: This term is us to describe a good moment to invest or buy a coin anticipating a raise in the price.4

5.Bearish:This is the opposite of Bullish is when market anticipates that the price is going to fall and is a good moment to sell.5

6.Long order: This term is used in margin trading is when you anticipate that the price of a coin is going to increase in value.6

7.Short order: This is also a term used in margin trading and is when you anticipate that the value of a coin is going to decrease.7

8.Altcoin: This is the term used to describe all other coin from Bitcoin. In other words there's is Bitcoin and then the rest of the coins for example: Litecoin, Ripple and so on.8

9.SegWit: Short for Segregated Witness this a upcoming change in Bitcoin that in simple words is making a Bitcoin smaller.9

11.Wallet: A place store your coins there is a cold wallet which means that is disconnected from a network and a hot wallet that is connected to a network.11
