Why the cryptocommunity is a horrible place
I am quite new in crypto, but I just have to say that this community is full of horrible people. Why ? I see so many people rooting for other coins to fail. If a cryptocoin is not the coin they support then this coin is a scam and its projects Ponzi schemes.
Here you have Tone ... a guy just throwing dirt at every altcoin that could be a competitor for bitcoin. In this tweet he attacks Steem, but in others he also attacks Ethereum.

And currently there is this new types of crypto attacks and hopes for the other coin to crash. The ETC versus the ETH attack. This is post from yesterday:

Seriously, people, what the hell is wrong with these crypto people ? Why do these people feel like they should be downtalking other coins ? This is really loser mentality. You shouldn't be giving a damn about other coins. Just focus on your own coins. If you are a loser than you keep hoping for others to fail. If you are winner then you will create quality and you will be succesfull no matter what. Stop behaving like a little bitch and focus on the coin you support and make sure the projects there are succesfull. You are really worse than the bankers you try to cut yourself lose from. You are all not that important. You might be talented, but there are other people talented as well and there is not going to be only 1 coin/project that will be succesfull. In 5 years from now, there are going to be many succesfull coins so deal with it !!!
I can sympathise with your comments, However there are also plenty of nice people in the crypto space! Be careful not to put us all in the same group. My advice to you would be to tune it out and let them get on with it. We'll get there in the end :)

They fail to see the bigger picture.
This what happens when you have margin trading available, people will short sell coins, then embark on a campaign of FUD (fear, Uncertainty, and doubt).
In the hopes that they scare enough people into sell their coins and tank (crash) the price, so they can close their position at a profit.
Generally Margin markets get a hiding, and it is very hard to know the real accepted value of the coin. Personally i Hate on XRP ( my personal feelings on decentralization) , so every time i see it up above 15 - 20% i will short sell it hard. The same thing happens in the wall street world, just in crypto all pretense of niceties are gone, Hence the name Trollbox, learn to use their shilling or fud to your advantage ;)
