Yeah I was never really in the scene for the investment status - I was more interested in the technology and the ability for it to be a way for people to send me money without having to pay some third party or fees, etc. Later it became about the community - especially on Steem!

I still believe it's the currency of the future - it will just take a lot of patience for it to turn into that for the majority of the world. Us early adopters just have to keep on keeping on and keep our ears to the ground, educate others, and keep the crypto-ecosystem moving in the way that we see it working.

Have you heard of the Q initiative? It's kind of an attempt to do what crypto does except mitigate the risks, which sounds like a good bridge for people who still can't get on board with real cryptos to start taking steps in that way. But we'll see, it's still in baby phase right now.
