My Mining Rigs

in #crypto7 years ago

I've just started my 3rd GPU mining rig. I built the first one about a month ago. This is it, below. It's running 5 Aorus 580's and a 1070. It's mining ZER right now but I'm switching that later today. I haven't redone the bios on these cards, that still on my to-do list.

Here are my second and third miners. The top one is running a 1070, (3) 380's, and a 380x. The bottom one just has (2) 380's on it right now, but I've bought some more on ebay and are on their way here. I've got both of these dual mining Musicoin and Sia coin. The bottom miner has an Asrock h110 motherboard capable of running 13 GPU's at once. That should be fun, I've never doubled up on a PSU before. Otherwise, I know these look pretty mangled and unorganized, but I'm planning on building some custom frames for them in the next few weeks. Also I've got that monitor running off of a 8-way KVM switch, which I really like.

Those fans are kind of cool.

Nice set up... but why do you hang the cards and not have them sitting up?

I saw a guy on youtube do it and it looked like a quick and easy way to go. I'm going to try to put them in a frame that has them vertical so I can pull the cold air from the bottom of the room and push the hot air straight up. They are in a small office.

Interesting seams like it would work in a pinch.
