IAGON wants to offer companies and individuals access to a decentralized cloud services platform, on which users can rent out their unused disk-space and computational power, in exchange for IAG tokens. IAGON (Ticker: IAG) tokens will be used as currency on this 'cloud services market', allowing companies to pay for cloud storage and/or cloud computing.
IAGON makes use of their own Smart Computer Grid technology, driven by their A.I.-Tracker, which enables them to allocate resources faster and more efficient. This can be compared to how any other power grid works, resources are only distributed to fulfill exact demand by consumers.
Both Blockchain and Tangle are used by IAGON, Blockchain to maintain honesty across the different nodes, while Tangle is used to scale IAGON.
IAGON's goal is to make cloud computing and large data storage accessible to a wide range of people. The possibilities are endless, now cloud computing becomes affordable for different types of non-profit organizations, who might have previously lacked access due to high costs.

My Opinion on IAGON
This particular project caught my eye, because they have the most impressive list of endorsers, in both business and technological fields. [LinkedIn]
Once I started going over their white paper, it became clear to me that this type of application could potentially change the way cloud services operate. The idea that we might have a decentralized cloud resources market where anyone can access the equivalent of a supercomputer, is pretty amazing when you think about it.
There are somewhat similar projects out there that want to achieve similar goals, but I was most impressed by the way IAGON wants to change cloud services. I can see this getting very big in the future, IAG tokens are still very cheap at the moment, so it could be worth it to invest in this.

This sounds like a great idea... however I would have concerns about security. I've recently signed up for a monthly account with pCloud, to store my videos and photos. I'm very green when it comes to these kinds of things, but if users' personal disk space was used as cloud storage, would that make my private info more vulnerable to hackers? That would be my main concern. That worry aside, using crypto to allow people to rent and exchange computer storage space sounds - in theory - like a great idea.
All information gets encrypted by default, I would think. It definitely would be too hard to implement a very strong level encryption in order to achieve perfect security.

Very interesting! I am going to have to check this out a little more. Thanks for sharing. I am a big fan of EOS and the model they are continuing to improve upon. This sounds somewhat similar in many ways!
