Is Either Network getting lethargic Lately!

While the Ethereum's market cap may soon surpass Bitcoin in a milestone termed "the flippening" , there is huge concern of transaction movement being slow over Ethereum Network. There could many reasons for that like Scalability issue, not sufficient miners at that time etc.

Recently, during Crowdesale of Status messaging there were numerous complaints of transaction not being sent to network though , users received message that transaction is successfully placed on network.Transactions were failing by the thousands, and since these transactions were failing and the sheer volume it put significant stress on the Ethereum Network.
