I agree partially. I have invested in coins that have went from having millions in trading volume down to $20,000 months later. Its really hard to get a sense of what is organic trading volume and what is pump and dump trading volume. Look at etn for instances
Generally you would have to look at rolling averages to get a real feel of what the coin has going on.

Have to love the movement of velocity and be ready for anything. I notice the velocity movement on @binanceexchange now. I've been considering daily exchange in crypto as the way. Velocity goes down. It takes more time to hit the swings. Very true! If you do well enough. On days like today... GOLF!
