I'm just starting out. Learning my way around various exchanges. I'm now on Binance but haven't begun trading there yet. LTC seems to be the logical choice for me now. Lots of potential and the price is low.
I would also recommend stellar and Ox coin, try Bittrex and Poloniex as well.
