Splinterlands | Dragons Challenge
Dragons is an interesting class in Splinterlands as they can be combined with the class cards from any other splinter. This makes them great cards to own especially the dragon summoners, but far less favorable to rent as they require class cards of many different splinters. Many of the dragon class cards also have the fly ability and they have some of the highest mana cost cards. In any game where there is 99 Mana, playing dragon becomes favorable since you will be able to put a lot more mana to work in total. This was the case in the match I played for this challenge...
The game rules of this match were no Magic allowed with each monster getting the opportunity ability. I like the combination of the Dragon Splinter combined with Life Class cards. This mostly for the combination of Shieldbearer to dictate where the damage is going to, the Carnage Titan to reduce potential blast damage and the Warrior of Piece because it reduces both the melee and ranged attack from the opponent. Add to that the Vigilator which is a monter in game rules like this due to having to types of attack which both strike twice. both the Silvershield Knight & the Legiollaire Alvar I put in to both buff my Melee attach while further reducing the Melee attack of my opponent.
I'm pretty pleased with this deck and my overall level of play lately as I did get a clean sweep leaving the opponent with no chance whatsoever even if this match was simulated 100 times over. I do have quite a wide collection which helps in being able to play more optimal in the first place.
