MediBloc is a medical data platform that is developing its own chain of blocks. Where patients can go to any doctor and give them full access to their medical records. This simplifies the medical process and ensures that doctors have all the necessary pertinent information.

The interesting thing about Medibloc and its cryptocurrency is the use of this new system that seeks to ensure medical records, all this with the same effectiveness offered by the technology of blocks to cryptocurrencies. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities and frontiers to personalized medical care or PHR. Medibloc wants to grant ownership of medical records to its users and not to hospitals or health entities who pay for reading, researching or copying these same documents to patients.

To easily explain this exchange of medical records we can imagine that when a patient needs to change hospitals or visit another one which is not regular, many times the data of these medical records are lost or truncated in the change. So with Medibloc, the patient has full right of use to personally handle his medical record without depending on a hospital, for example.

From the beginning the MediBloc platform has been dedicated to the maximum effort of the blockchain technology and the medical record system. The Blockchain platform is specifically designed for the personal management of health records. The MediBloc platform seeks to use the virtual Ethereum to guarantee a secure scalability, since EV is the most used for the development of intelligent contracts, however, MediBloc's own blockchain platform will serve as a basis for us to establish a security system more solid of personal health records.

We also hope to have the benefits of flexibility by expanding to other platforms by having our own blockchain platform.

The tokens of MediBloc

MediBloc uses two different tokens: the MEDI token (MED) and the MEDI (MP) point. The first is a cryptographic token that is used to enter and make purchases, while the second is a token that is only for the MediBloc network. MP is a point-based system to give users and organizations a better position on the MediBloc platform. The only way to earn MP is to contribute to the network for improvement or buy them through MED tokens, users can use MED for off-platform payments such as insurance payments. However, MP is exclusively for the MediBloc platform and can not leave it. They can only be used for intra-MediBloc purposes such as verification.
