MediBloc Brings Transparency To Heath
Medical records have been an administrative nightmare of note with taking, keeping, managing, and distribution of patients records hampered by the centralised nature of the current system. This can cause serious issues when patients are referred to different institutions, specialists or while they are travelling which can even lead complications.
Medical records are kept in the dark and this can lead to nefarious applications with institutions intentionally hiding or refusing to release data or poor data collection with no set template making it hard for those wanting to make use of the record keeping to get any sort of value from inconsistent records.
Having full control of your records
This will be a monumental shift for patients as you now have complete control over your records, who has access to them when you receive them and you have 24-hour access to all your health information which is all updated in real time. Never before have patients had this kind of access. Giving patients the opportunity to move around and seek care that suits them regardless of being tied to certain doctors because of administrative restrictions.
For insurance and researchers
For insurance and researchers, they will have open access to study various medical trends, isolate it too granular scales like geolocation and medical care can be tailored to certain regions. Researchers will be able to study health trends and make concerted efforts to keep doctors informed of any trends they pick up and having access to years of macro and microenvironmental data will help the medical field become more reactive and proactive in decision making and resources.
Mainnet launch
MediBlocks mainnet will be used in conjunction with various medical partners such as research facilities across the world to provide auditing, accouting and medical research based on data pushed to the blockchain by patients in order to create an open and decentralised platform for data sharing which will hopefully speed up and optimise the distrubution od medical data and also reduce the cost spent on medical supplies as resources can be shifted where needed.
While for patients they have complete transparency regarding costs of services rendered and both public and private medicare costs will be available for all to view and compare.

What I think of MediBlock
I completely agree with the concept of standardizing records, making them open and transparent and allowing for quick and easy record keeping in both submitting and retrieving data in a field where this type of information and the speed at which it can be delivered can save countless lives each year. The only concern I have is an external one as there are already 12 other cryptocurrencies/blockchain projects also looking to decentralise medical records and could serve to either marginalise each other into various geolocated niches or fields of medicine. This could also cause issues with blockchain projects not able to exchange info across chains and could leave us with the same issue we have now.

Right thoughts you have , and set them cool
Well at this stage the project is still a concept and i'm not keen to explore hypertehticals until they actually put out an MVP and start dealing with technical and physical challenges. Every ICO sounds great on paper, but implimentation is where the real concerns and discussions should be done
