I wouldn't exactly call it 'serious' hardware. I still made a few coins over the years, just not many. :)
That's pretty old, you can get a GTX 1060 2GB for around a 100-150 bucks. I've tried mining on my GTX 460 and it's pretty trash. Maybe if I started mining in 2009...
