Updating the CanYa Community on all of the progress from CanYa and Bountysource

canyaheader.png

Hello from the CEO

We have a few more exciting partnerships and initiatives to announce soon, which the team will continue to explain how they align with the CanYa roadmap and help you! The team is growing with now up to 26 team members to handle our growing operations. Our platform releases are on time and we can’t wait to share more details soon.

Our community is №1 — they got us voted onto FatBTC with over 700 retweets of their listing competition. As always, we are community-first and will be engaging our community with more competitions, announcements and giveaways. Keep the likes, comments and feedback coming!

Unsold CAN Tokens sent to Asset Contract

The token distribution is 100% complete and all remaining unsold CAN tokens have been sent to the Asset Contract as promised. For the full details on this you can read this blog.

As per the whitepaper and diagram above 13.91m unsold tokens were sent to the CanYa Asset Contract as such:

Token Burn:

As promised, 30% of all tokens were burnt forever. This occurred after they were sent to the ETH contract address finishing in dEaD! Overall total supply is now 95,827,000 CAN tokens.

Changes in circulating supply

Some of you may have notice the circulating supply randomly changing on Coin Market Cap. This is due to the current formula where any tokens moving from the CanYa Operations wallet are added to the circulating supply.

For example when the tokens where sent from this wallet to be burnt they were added to the circulating supply. This issue has been brought to Coin Market Cap’s attention and we are in the process of bolstering this formula.

CanYa Development Update

CanYa Version 2. (codename: SHIFT) is coming soon!

Based on the learnings from our MVP and customer validation, we are integrating significant improvements for the coming version. Our aim is capacity for scale and reliability. We can’t wait to share it with you for feedback!

Goals for the next version:

Our key goals are to rebuild our service provider directory and re-engage providers. It’s time to get our providers to join the NEW CanYa and build their identity in the Blockchain.

Our initial target market is software developers, across all languages, website designers, graphic designers and UX and UI providers. If you fit this description, you need to be on CanYa!

What’s new in CanYa SHIFT:

– New design: CanYa gets a fresh new look! New colour palette and design, and a more responsive layout that we will keep improving in next versions. A redesigned interface with a clean, modern appearance and new visual elements, animations and effects.

– Sign-in/Sign-up with uPort: Now you can join our platform by creating your identity on the Blockchain. It’s an easy, secure and simple way to register and login to our platform. And uPort is one of the first decentralised services that we will be using to build the decentralised CanYa.

– CanYa Bot: Tell CanYa Bot what to do in different situations. E.g. create your profile, change colour schemes, add work to your portfolio, check CanYaCoin price, and more.

– Profile customisation: Now you can set and choose between different colour schemes, you can add work to your portfolio, post comments and see the first version of our Reactions Engine. CanYa Reactions will allow our users to give feedback to create a transparent peer review system.

– Search engine: A completely new search engine, designed to take full advantage of the content that our providers will add to their profiles, to find the right service provider for you.

– And much more: Testing for decentralised services for the next release, special listings and featured providers.

Discord has many benefits including the ability to form ‘sub-groups’ to create discussions around specific topics. This ability also allows us to create dedicated language channels which currently includes:

-Arabic
-Nordic
-Russian
-Chinese
-Turkish
-Vietnamese

HODL Group

Telegram does not allow you to create large private groups. With this in mind we have created our **HODL private channel **in Discord. This is a place for all HODLers to chat, vote, hear about the latest CanYa news and find out when HODL club air drops will be occurring.

Earn.com

The CanYa team ran the biggest co-ordinated air drop in history thanks to our partners at earn.com.

The Telegram channel swelled to over 16,000 participants making it the biggest crypto telegram group in Australia!

These new members will be air-dropped their CAN tokens no later than the 15th of February and will be encouraged to buy more to join our awesome HODL club community.

HODL Club

The HODL club members have been identified and notified. We have a total of 528 OG HODLers still in the club after the ICO ended. There are also a large number of applicants waiting the mandatory 45 days to join either of the two tiers of the HODL club.

The HODL club can be joined at any time with 10,000 CAN required to join the OG tier and 2500 CAN required to join tier 2. Once new applications are received they will be required to wait the mandatory 45 days as a ‘proof of HODL’ test.

You can apply for the HODL club by filling out this form

Air Drop

The first HODL club airdrop (for all of our OG HODLers) will occur within the next fortnight!

Please join the HODL club discord channel if you have questions about this.

First Vote for HODL’ers

The first vote put out to our HODL club members will be** what to officially name the two tiers of the HODL club.** It’s your club so you should be able to decide what you want it to be called!

New HODL Club website

We are currently working on a new HODL club website that will make the application process completely automatic. You’ll also be able to see statistics, chat to your fellow HODLers and do a lot of other cool stuff!

Bountysource

Bountysource is the world’s first open source software development bounty platform. The work-plan is to refresh the platform, integrate a crypto CAN token payment layer, and re-energise and re-engage the 46,000+ user base, major partners, and everyone that needs open source bug bounty and auditing on their software!

Bountysource development team update

The team recently met in Malaysia to review progress on the Bountysource facelift and to firm up plans for future releases.

The Bountysource logo and updated design will be be featured in the next release due in just a few weeks. In the meantime, the team is busy solving a few pain points reported by our loyal open-source community.

Lastly, we are pleased to report planning has begun on crypto bounties with development commencing very shortly.

Exchange News

FatBTC

FatBTC ran a twitter competition and our awesome community made their voice heard! We received a high number of votes and because of this FatBTC decided to** list the CAN token for free!** Thanks to all those who voted.

Bancor

While not a traditional exchange the Bancor listing will significantly help CAN token liquidity once it is in high demand from the Bountysource and CanYa 2.0 platforms. We are very pleased to be associated and listed on such a reputable platform.
