Denarius Staking Wallet - Early PoS Returns Report
I discussed the Denarius Qt wallet currently being developed with a new hashing algo and PoS model created by Carsen Klock, Tribus being the name of the new algorithm. Recently, they updated their wallet to improve the statistics page seen here:
Their statistics page gives you real time info on DNR valuation, hashrates, which have been rising pretty steadily as the coin rises in market cap as well as difficulty for PoW and PoS.
Currently, most of the coin creation is through PoW, so staking returns will be very small until the blockchain grows further toward the PoS target block of 3 million. I am investigating the staking feature nevertheless, as I am not interested in mining operations.
NOTE: Screenshot of wallet is set to microDNR so I can see staking returns without decimal places.
Although the PoS returns have been tiny at this block number, they have come in regularly over the last 3 days showing a healthy PoS system just waiting for enough staking nodes to make staking profitable. I am very pleased with the performance and the quick sync of the DNR wallet. I knew I had made a good decision going with a project being built by a Dashcore developer, where PoS finds its strongest model following Dash Proof of Service masternode system.
Denarius has a very active Gitter channel with free DNR raindrops for participants and a lively and helpful community. Aside from Dash Slack, it is the only community I spend any time mingling with. You can find their Gitter channel here.

You can only find DNR listed on coinexchange.io and novaexchange at the moment, but other exchanges are in the works and I hear tell that Crypotopia is next.
If you haven't looked at this new PoW model and have questions about the hashing algo, go to their Gitter channel and join the fun, it is just getting started over at Denarius, no need to panic FOMO buy. Just yet.
As always, Happy Trading & Prosperous Returns!
dnr is also on cryptopia now
