💳 Litepay Should Come Out Today
That moment all us litecoin hodlers have been waiting for!
Today is the day when litepay launches to the world.
Will we see a massive push of adoption over the next few days, or a slowly dying creature.
who knows! but time will tell for sure.
I am very excited for litepay to release and if just one large company such as Amazon, Overstock etc pick it up it could be explosive to litecoin.
There have been wild speculations as to the price of litecoin if it hits main stream.
But lets dig into what the value really could be based on others market caps.
If litecoin overtook Ethereum like it was back in the day at the 2nd highest market cap coin that would put its current value per litecoin at $1,561 per coin!
This will most likely be a sell-the-news event as far as Litecoin traders are concerned. Just look at what happened with Vechain's re-brand today: price dumped liked a rock.
I am excited but somewhat disappointed as I received an email saying that they will only be signing up merchants at this time. There are evaluating when to start the card as per message:

Due to recent hostile actions by card issuers towards crypto companies, we have decided that offering LitePay card registrations at this time is imprudent.
We will continue to monitor the situation with regards to card services and will open registration as soon as a reliable product can be supported.

It seems as though the traditional payment systems are seeing this as a direct attack to their business model.
And isn't it? Of course, instead of fighting to keep their traditional payment systems in place forever, they have the option to adapt.
LTC having good growth among all 10 cryptocurruncies. Litepay will have good effect on LTC. Let's see what's happening next :)

Lol well perhaps the start of something great! We will see I hope I still have not seen an official announcement it is live yet lol But they are still saying today.
Of the big three, I am most bullish on LTC.
I think ETH will encounter some problems with EOS and BTC will end up being a store of value but not transactional.
LTC could fit into that model.
Agreed ETH has been hitting some road blocks here recently. But it has had MASSIVE growth but I dont see to much more room for growth on the ETH side at the moment in terms of good news and expanding it.

I've been a Litecoin supporter for a while now, and the news this week has been good!
I'm still learning about cryptocurrency so this was helpful to me. I'll keep an eye out to see how Litecoin does.
That should be a great news for LTC, however I just looked at the price and LTC is red, after being well into green today. It's the only one red right now from the big cryptos. I wonder why...
