Big Updates For Stellar

Yesterday I noticed that Stellar was now available to be bought on Coinbase. While that does not mean as much as it use to it is still nice to see such coins being added into Coinbase and I am very curious to see what ones we add in the future.
That being said Stellar actually has some rather big updates so lets go over them below.
IBM Blockchain cross payment boarder is live and 6 major banks have been added into the system. These will be used for stable coins and making transfers between banks faster. This is what Ripple has been promising its users for a very long time so I actually see this news as being a major hit again to Ripple.
These banks will be opening up either own stable coins on the Stellar Lumans XLM. How it will work is that Bank 1 with their own fiat currency will make an agreement with Bank 2 in their own fiat currency.When this transaction takes place it will use XLM or Stellar Lumans to make the transaction.
What are your own thoughts on Stellar ?
stellar as a new crypto it is very pleasing to get such an opportunity of being added in bank system. I think this is a breakthrough to the crypto market.
At least it is more decentralized and more based on fundamental blockchain technology. Its adoption will help the industry more than XRP.

Also IBM must have big Stellar bags...
Its more open ended then Ripple but yeah I guess its better then each bank designing their own which seems like it will be the case later on.

I'm way to excited for stellar what I like most about them is other projects are running off they're platform without just ibm all on real time transactions making it reach other places in the world that imb world wire might not reach stellar is making moves for real time transfer/transactions
