A Sell Off Before The Fire
Crypto has been getting hit pretty hard the last few weeks and trust me I know it can get real depressing.
Steem is even at all time lows of $0.17 per coin! OUCH
The days of Steem being over $1 or more seem far far away but could there be a fire brewing ?
There are a number of factors due to come out in the next few months that might end up flipping all of this around. Making this possibly an amazing long term buy and hold period.
There has always been a ton of talk about institutions investing into bitcoin. The CEO of coinbase has reported they see around 200 million to 400 million being invested into crypto from institutions at the moment. This is a rather large number and accounts for nearly 1% of the total market cap each month. This should also tell you there is still MASSIVE room for growth in this area.
Coinbase has also acquired Xapo which now puts coinbase at 7 billion in assets under custody.
There are a number of products still to come.
We are still waiting on Bakkt and Binance in which there should be a ruling from the united states come October of this year.
The other big changes this year will be coinbase allowing for staking. I think this is going to be a huge game changer for 2020 when etherum rolls to POS but not only that other altcoins which use the POS system.
I heard Bakkt launches Sept 23 so it will be interesting to see how much flows there as well and the implications for the asset class.

The good thing here is that we have an inside line on everything being developed. We get to see everything that is coming down the line and while there are no guarantees, STEEM still looks like the best blockchain to me. It has the potential to become huge if it is built right and we get the basic issues fixed. At 17c it's the best investment opportunity that I have ever come across and I will hopefully get as much STEEM as possible while the prices are low.

Exactly, I don't get all these people whining about the price. Best opportunity to pick up some stake cheaply, in the most promising blockchain technology at its time.

I've still never found anything to rival what we have here. It has the most potential for real world use and bringing in everyday people to crypto.
