Crypto R&D group’s camp to guide developers building Lightning Network apps

Chaincode Labs, a crypto research and development group, will hold a week-long camp in October to mentor developers looking to create apps on the Lightning Network. “We want to help bootstrap the emerging Lightning applications developer ecosystem,” the group said in a statement on Medium.Source

The group added that though Lightning apps are attracting a lot of excitement within the community, knowledge regarding building those apps is currently “scarce and diffuse.”

The residency program focusing on Lightning app development will be held from October 22 to 26 in New York. The program will invite 12 app developers to learn from experts about building apps using the Lightning Network and will create prototypes of their own Lightning apps during the week.
