Crypto for the Average: Good video showing why holding precious metals is smart
The video uses Venezuela, and the recent hyperinflation of the 'bolivar' as a reference. What's happening in Venezuela is a worst case scenario. Scale it down as needed, what's happening in Turkey, and Argentina are good examples as well.
I don't normally re-post videos, but this one is a great reminder and easy lesson: Precious metals will protect 'your ass (economically)' in the long-term, or in the event of fiat hyperinflation.
I own ~20%, and I'd own more but I'm also invested in crypto-currencies. Soon I will be researching whether people are actually turning to crypto as a 'safe investment' and I will hopefully have enough information, pro or con, to make a nice, informative post.
