Use CoinSwappy to find the best price to swap your coins!
What's up everyone! Hope ur having a great weekend! I'm rockin' it out in Bali currently, still working with my @SteemSmarter team. We're planning to release next week, but ssssshhhhhh ;) (go ahead and follow us to receive the upcoming announcement).
I just recently found CoinSwappy - https://coinswappy.com. Basically it's an aggregator for "no account necessary" exchanges like @shapeshiftio and @changelly to help you find the best price available for the coin pair you want to trade.
I'm sure you know how it works, but i'll break it down for anyone who doesn't.
- You have ETH
- You want LTC
- You don't want to go to an exchange like Bittrex, Binance or Poloniex because you fear the exchange will get hacked or you don't trust other ppl with your private keys (and you value your privacy).
- Go to CoinSwappy, enter the coin pair and find the best available exchange
- Profit
Here's an example of trading 1 ETH for LTC. Looks like Shapeshift currently offers the best rate.
Now, I do have some feedback.
- I'm not sure how they get the "best price" of 5.4702 LTC for that 1 ETH, because it's pretty clear that Shapeshift only offers 5.377 LTC. Do they think we can't read?
- They will display coin pairs that are simply NOT SUPPORTED. For example, if you want to exchange STEEM for EOS. The results make it seem that you can make this trade on several of the exchanges, but alas it's not available on a single one because nobody supports the STEEM currency. womp womp
- Every link is an affiliate link. Nothing wrong with that, it's how they make money and I 100% support it, just wanted to make sure you were aware. It shouldn't impact your exchange rate at all.
I should mention that I am in NO WAY affiliated with CoinSwappy or any exchange of any kind. I'm just writing this blog post for educational purposes only and am not making any recommendation on which coins to buy, sell or hodl.

I observed something the UI of the website is great.
Even the customer support chat is awesome, they reply instantaneously.
I even probed further, and I realised they are on telegram which is good.

i rly wish some of these "no-account" exchanges would support STEEM. What's the catch?
