AMBR World State
World-state is the latest global status of the Blockchain. Fabric stores the latest state that occurred after a historical transaction. The implementation uses a key value or document database.
In Ambr's verification chain, the world state is a Merkle tree structure consisting of the account address and the corresponding state. A Merkle tree is a binary tree consisting of a root node, a set of intermediate nodes, and a set of leaf nodes. The bottom leaf node contains the stored data or its hash value, each parent node is the hash value of its two child nodes, and the root node is also composed of the hash values of its two child nodes.
For ordinary external accounts, each state is the account of both parties involved in the transaction. The account address of the receiving and sending, and the corresponding status (balance, etc.) are stored. A contract account has to save more data:
The account details of the transaction.
The status of the execution result of the contract account.
The status result affected by the contract code.
The status result of the fee receiver account.
