We went to Fairbanks, hoping to see the auroras but it was overcast the whole time...only got to see them from the airplane window on the way in. We passed through Anchorage but not Soldotna...next time if there will be we want to go to the ice glacier caves in Juneau.
That is on my bucket list! That's cool you even got to see them on the way in! I'd love to go to the ice glaciers in Juneau too... honestly Alaska is one of the most beautiful places. There's so much to see haha
