MIND: The Platform for Mind Sports and The Problems It Solves
Mindspots.io (MIND) is Social Network for the players of intellectual sports like Chess and Go. Allowing players to host tournaments, play and govern the decentralized system.

Mindsports aim to decentrailze this niche and eliminate the need for trusting a single party to host and run these games. similar to most blockchain based platforms with a unique niche... It only focuses on Mind Sports games be Digital or in the Physical world. The platform is powered by Ethereum and it's own token is MIND.
The **Mind Sports" are:
“activities which promote health involving physical or mental health or exertion.”.
In their whitepaper the team stated the benefits of the mind sports, like developing ones Analytical and Critical thinking... Mindsports.io aim is to make these activities as accessible as possible.
Their team is passionate about the bloakchain, includes people from both Crypto and Mind games world as the Co-founder is both a developer and a chess master... The team includes people from World Chess Federation (FIDE) too.
By the time of release the platform will support around 10 Mind games.

The Problem Of The Current Mind Sports System
As the team stated in their whitepaper, there are three problems with the current systems for mind games.
- The Need to Trust
The platform that organize tourmaments and games, their administrator has the capability to make decisions that put the organization's interests before the interests of the mind sports community. some people are hesitant to play
mindsport tournaments online due to a lack of trust.
- Reliability
The serves of Online game platforms may unexpectedly shut down or get hacked.
- Cheating
Players are suspicious of potential game manipulation such as stalling time,
disconnecting, and cheating from opponents.
How The Decentralized System Can Solve These
Instead of trusting s single party like with other platforms.. Every MIND stakeholder takes part in governing the play, this will eliminate the need for the trust and cheating. If the games are played in a decentralized way (like steemit) then the problem of server shutting down and reliability would be solved too.
The white paper show exactly how the governing of the games and tournaments work in Mindsports platform.
For The Players
People would be able to play the games for MIND coins. The game itself will be off-chain because verifying every move would require too much "gas" from the players...

The Pre-sale for the MIND tokens will start on 17 Nov and ends 16 DEC... There will be 15,000,000 MIND in the Pre-sale, that's %30 of the total supply.
You can't ever be sure when investing, so I recommend investing in only things you care about... But from what I've read from their website and whitepaper these people care a lot about Mind Sports and deserve some support.
Final Words
This coin made me realized how many niches that can benefit a lot from the blockchain technology and didn't get the suitable platform yet. The people behind MIND seem passionate and that's one thing a new blockchain needs.
