ETH private key generated by accident | Current Market News
Step 1: Don't panic! There's no FUD to be found here. It's just a rare coincidence and does not indicate that there's anything wrong with Ethereum. Problems with wallets and private keys have led to massive FUD in the past because people don't understand that a distributed blockchain cannot be hacked or spoofed.
Twitter user "@RNR_0" created a private key which already belonged to a wallet holding a small amount of ETH and other funds. He holds a lot of ETH himself, so this was not a plan to cause the price of ETH to plummet and short his position and then buy back at a discount. The flurry of FUD posting in the Poloniex trollbox certainly caused a dent in his holdings as it was. Everything is fine, so don't go selling off your ETH to whales at a discount, just hodl and buy more if you notice a price dip.
