I wonder how much they made. The penalty is probably just a slap on the wrist to them.

About time they get hit with a fine taking 10% or more in fees, to bad the fines do not also include repaying all of the people who been over charged.

An interesting development. Let me posit the conspiratorial angle. The powers that be, foretelling the accusation establishment corruption being ignored, chooses a defunct and dying industry to punish as a scapegoat.

This then exists as the evidence of their 'will to fight corruption in all forms' and then they are able to come at the cryptocurrency world, making the accusation that Bitcoin is 'for criminals' and deflecting criticism of themselves through pointing to Western Union.

Pure speculation of course, but ....maybe....maybe..
