@marketingmonk, this is a VERY interesting development. I think there's a window of opportunity for those who are competent and able to produce tangible results,.

At the very least, you can get paid for consulting. i think the main thing will be to determine exactly what these institutions are actually trying to accomplish, as i think their having unrealistic expectations based on their lack of understanding of "blockchain" beyond a buzzword is what will leave them open to being scammed.

Exactly. What do these companies think that these 'specialist' are going to be able to do for them?
I could quite easily get one of these consulting positions but I won't because they won't like what I'd have to say.
