Kraken is agnostic so they don't care if ETC or ETH or BTC or Steem survives long term. They make money on trading fees. They're neutral. This will also allow ETH holders who have ETH on the 2nd largest ETH exchange to sell their ETC. Really it just means more vol, who knows the direction.
