Yes I think lightning will push BTC back up and will help it to go more mainstream but we need to wait a bit longer till it will be full implemented and after that we need to get as many companies to accept payments via lightning.
I agree! Right now, BTC is falling behind in terms of technology when compared to many other currencies. With its full implementation, BTC can compete to a better degree and possibly regain some dominance in the market
