What is MKR and what is DAI?
MakerDAO is a very important project to watch in the crypto-space. Currently we see demand for stable tokens based on the fact that Steem Dollars are currently going for $10+. MakerDAO is a decentralized method of generating a stable token so that the value stored in the token never goes below a certain threshold guaranteed by mechanism design. The stable token for example should always be worth more than $1 each, which would allow a person to store their wealth in these stable tokens instead of scams like Tether which do not have a decentralized mechanism that I know of for guaranteeing the value is aways at least 1:1.
What is DAI?
DAI is the decentralized stablecoin produced by MakerDAO. DAI is actually days away from being launched and in my opinion this is big news. Once it hits exchanges there will be an alternative to Steem Dollars for a store of value. At the same time DAI is untested and we do not yet know how well it will work.
How do the economics off MKR doa work?
this is a good question with an even better answer.
but maybe you have to do your own research through this project as it isn't trivial to understand.

if you indeed want to purchase MKR Token (Dao Governance Token) instead of DAI (the stable coin) you have to use kind of exclusive exchanges. (i would recommend OasisDex via the MetaMask Plugin - this set up runs on ethereum smart contracts. take care )
But if you are actually interested in the stablecoin DAI you just need to be patient.
As Dai is just rolled out Today/Tomorrow.
DAI will be listed on OasisDex in the very first beginning and soon after on other exchanges - a list should be announced over the next days by Rune
