The IRS is trying to get Coinbase to hand over SSNs from its users. My understanding is GDAX is part of Coinbase. Will the outcome of the IRS decision effect GDAX info also? If you are doing margin buys on GDAX, will the IRS be privy to this info?
Yeah, I'm not sure people have paid this much attention. You're absolutely correct- funny how they said it should ultimately reduce volatility, but in the short-term should drive it nuts.
