I think Litecoin is still one of the big sleepers in the industry. It's been in the top 10 forever, but people still like to talk about everything else. It stays out of the controversies, it's fast, cheap and quick to the table on development (First atomic swap, first to lightning, easier to innovate on) and I think it attracts more people right now for the speculation game, given the current price (100x cheaper than bitcoin). Disclosure: I own less FIAT value of LTC than BTC but more qty, so naturally if they swapped places I would benefit.
I like Litecoin and hope it will be a good investment in future too so lower fees are good i think.
