Status's initial coin offering raised over 64 million dollars in one day. The heavy traffic has continued to congest Ethereum transactions on a number of networks like Shapeshift, Coinbase, and Etherscan. Status is a mobile browser for Ethereum community and ETH dapps available on Android and IOS. Users can chat with the community, send ETH, and other tokens easily. Status shows promise in that it has what appears to be a functional app.
Ethereum transaction delays leaves one questioning the scalability of Ethereum and its networks. Is this just a small bump in the road or are network delays exposing ETH flaws? A lot of things to think about in Ethereum and Status.im .
Do not know whether to invest in status and similar tokens what do you think?
It could go either way seems like a really good idea but its to early to call.

Nice post !! I honestly think this must be just a small bump in the road, Its just that there ICOs are getting massive mainstream attention and It should be hard to keep up with all that. Hopefully they find a war around it soon and leave this as an anecdote .

One of the main reasons I believe in Ethereums long term success is the huge group of talented developers we have. This indeed will be a small bump in the road, as they work to improve and scale the network. Its a good thing we are working through these problems now, and not later on in my opinion!

I did notice a short delay earlier this week @studio44 but things are back to normal over here. kaBOOM!
Tried to exchange ETH for something else yesterday. Waited 4 hours. Then KABOOM it arrived. But that really messed with my exchange rate. Bad timing.
