WHAT IS XDR.MONEY
XDR.money is the new easy to use stable crypto-currency.
We got sick of losing money because the value of our home currency kept dropping against the US dollar and other major currencies and made everything more expensive.
We also got sick of not earning any interest on our savings in the bank.
So we came up with an electronic currency just like Bitcoin, but has a stable price, not like Bitcoin, and also pays interest, also unlike Bitcoin.
We also wanted it to be simple to use, so instead of sending money to your mother at a hard to remember address like “3J98t1WpEZ73CNmQviecrnyiWrnqRhWNLy”, you can send it to [email protected] or your mum’s phone number.
Later on we are going to send out XDR.money debit cards that you can use online, at ATMs worldwide or in person anywhere that Mastercard and Visa are accepted to spend your XDR.money.

HOW IT WORKS
XDR.money is valued at parity to (the same as) the International Monetary Fund’s Special Drawing Rights (SDR with currency code XDR) reserve currency.
In the words of the IMF:
“The SDR is an international reserve asset, created by the IMF in 1969 to supplement its member countries’ official reserves. As of March 2016, 204.1 billion SDRs (equivalent to about $285 billion) had been created and allocated to members.
The value of the SDR is currently based on a basket of four major currencies: the U.S. dollar, euro, the Japanese yen, and pound sterling. The basket will be expanded to include the Chinese renminbi (RMB) as the fifth currency, effective October 1, 2016.”

Because of the way the SDR is valued it remains very stable compared to other currencies making XDR.money an excellent currency to use for savings, trade and purchases. XDR.money is valued at 1:1, so one XDR.money = one SDR.
SDR also pay interest at a rate calculated weekly. The minimum interest rate is 0.05% per week, or 2.6% per year. XDR.money holders can also earn this same interest rate on any XDR.money held.
* Please note the only connection between XDR.money and the SDR is the setting of price and interest rate, XDR.money has no other connection to the IMF.
