Technology has gained, advanced in numeorus ways in all sectors. Still, there is one that has not advanced as much as it should have. We are talking about medicine. It still has old tech, following old processes and data storage, inconvenient methods and so on. It has a lot of room to grow and advance. Now with the uprise in the blockchain tech it is finally possible. Now we can upgrade every process, data storage and other fields in medicine. Blockchain is changing lives quickly.
The project we want to talk about today is called Shivom ( https://shivom.io/index.html ). They are using revolutionary blockchain technology to advance medicine. They are set to change the way genome is explored. Genome is a big part of our lives, it defines nearly everything in us. How we look, how healty are, basically everything that defines us is thanks to genome. Some people are lucky and have it good, some are not so lucky. It will advance the genome database that is much needed in manufacturing new medicines, and improving lives. If we get the genome, and improve it we can all live a better life. Through Shivom you will be the master of your data. Blockchain is the superior way of storing records and data, because it is immutable and can not be changed at any point! Shivom will use smart contracts, so you can always be sure you will get what is agreed upon. Smart contracts are programmable and executed by decentralized blockchain tech. You will finally be able to contribute to the DNA research, and still own your data. That way everybody is winning, both the companies which are doing research on genome, gaining a much bigger diversified pool of DNA samples and you as a contributor. Shivom will be the largest DNA database. Creating the open web market for genome samples, and it will be open to all contributors and developers. People can develop applications which will then be used for personal medicine. Genomic research is a giant market, counted in billions of dollars. Creating new medicines is expensive and time consuming job, but it produces treatments and vaccines that make life better. OMIX tokens will fuel the ecosystem, and incentivize the data donation by users. Shivom is building a platform for the future, and it is being built right now, showing people what is blockchain tech about, not only for speculation!
