Crypto Market Highlights week of July 8th (All Time Highs, CFTC)
1 - Dash and Litecoin reach All Time Highs!
Many of the cryptocurrencies have been suffering this week but there was 2 outliers in the Top 10 Marketcap that fought against the correction significantly! Litecoin went from $38USD to as high at $52USD which is a 36% gain! Dash went from $165USD to as high at $217USD which is a 31% gain! Both of which set all time highs and hopefully we will be more new highs in coming future.
2 - CFTC Approves startup LedgerX as a Swap Execution Facility
The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission approval is a step forward to bringing a derivatives market into the cryptocurrencies space that can give traders and investors more tools when participating in the markets which will help stabilize the price volatilities we see today. LedgerX still has a long way to go, but getting approval from regulators is always a big win!
Wether or not this might be a good thing to the whole crypto space in general we will have to wait and find out because many of us despise regulated markets.
