Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc are they scams?

Are these crypto-currencies and the hype around them just a scam? Well it really depends. You can consider real money like the US dollar a scam too and put enough reasons behind it. In that sense crypto-currencies might be a little less as a scams, but hey, that doesn't stop them being one completely.
