RE: The Welcome Party of Steemit and STEEM Blockchain
Where to begin...
1 . Criticism Is Forbidden
1. Hypocrite
Yes. Exactly this. Your app has received criticism and suddenly, you get all upset and decide that it's not something you are willing to fix, but a problem with the users.
As you say: "chasing away the critic is far more efficient than solving the issue itself."
And as we've seen, you've still failed to solve the issue itself.
2 . STEEM Must Never Be Sold
2. BULL SHIT
Almost everybody sells some STEEM. Those who believe in the future of the platform, especially those who have spent a long time in the Top 20 Witnesses power some up. They keep some. Because they believe that in the long run, the platform has a strong future.
As a previous Top 20 Witness who has, and continues to sell all of their STEEM, it should come as no surprise that you are criticised for this.
See "Hypocrite 1" above.
3 . Only the ‘Approved’ dApps Are Welcome
3. BULL SHIT
Don't put all dApps in the same category as yours. You released an untested dApp to a community that funded it and expected that community to spend money playing it. Despite a lack of instructions, guidance or support.
Your dApp failed. @steem-atlas is proving what can be achieved if a dApp is released in a stable, usable state. They have built something with a sustainable future that does not rely upon booming or steemcurator support for success. As of writing, they have received over 760k STEEM in delegations to support their project.
Whilst you keep bitching about how everybody hates you.
Real Solutions, Rejected
Can you share a link to this real solution that you've been working on? Or is it all just a load of hot air without any intention of implementing it because it's easier to bitch about what a rough deal you've been dealt.
What remains is simple:
- A safe zone where criticism cannot exist.
HYPOCRITE
It's ok for you to criticise, but let's not criticise the inadequately tested, community funded dApp.
- A coin that must never be sold.
BULL SHIT
A demonstration that you have no faith in the future of STEEM
- A culture that praises effort only when it’s staged.
BULL SHIT
A culture that praises actions far more than words. Actions that are done without the expectation of being paid for it. Examples could include running a game, quiz, contest purely for the joy of it and not demanding votes. Or rewriting the Newcomers' Guidance because it's the right thing to do.
That's not staged. That's genuine effort without expectation of being paid for it. Unlike your dApp.
- And an ecosystem that shuts out real growth.
Remind me, how many of the new users that you've registered have helped the platform to grow? How much STEEM have they purchased? Or have they used your booming votes to fund your game?
The beautifully wrapped truth is this:
“Conditional welcome, unlimited control.”
I assume you didn't proof-read this because "Conditional welcome, unlimited control." doesn't make sense. Perhaps it translates into another language nicely but in English, it's gibberish.
I look forward to tomorrow's bull shit rant. See you then.
