EtherFlyer – A Decentralised Exchange that is Sharing the Profits
Annoyed. Lost. Disappointed. These are some of the words crypto novice would use to describe how he feels about many of the centralised exchanges. From not being able to trade tokens when I want. To being locked out of my account, to having to go through extensive processes to sign up, then having to wait for confirmation, are some of the issues I have had to face since I entered the crypto world.
And of course, when one gets on, there are other issues to deal with. There are stories of people losing thousands of dollars, to not being able to access their funds because of some technical reason or another. For example, on many occasions, exchanges have been shut down in the middle of a boom or as they say, a ‘moon’ in the crypto world. There have been instances where wallets stopped working; to tokens not being released after being purchased, and a host of other issues. It is bad enough that one has to deal with problems in the traditional financial system. But within the crypto space? This defeats the purpose of cryptos.
EtherFlyer Solution
One assumes that the problem stems from the fact that many of these exchanges were established in a nascent crypto industry, where the number of investors was quite miniscule. The percentage of people participating will be 1% next year. There is no space for this sort of inefficiency. This is why EtherFlyer is stepping at the right time to address the shortcomings within the system.
Built on the most user-friendly blockchain platform, EtherFlyer is set to bring a number of improvements to the current system through utilising and improving upon current technology:
1) Smart Contracts
Given a choice between the potential for human error or the certainty of mathematics is a no-brainer. After all, that is why the blockchain is upending the present financial system. But EtherFlyer, is not only using smart contracts. They have also studied the old system and have made improvements to their ecosystem. In doing this, they have made their contracts faster and more efficient. Again, with more people flooding the crypto space, the old way of doing business is no longer plausible, this is why EtherFlyer entrance is so crucial at this time.
2) It is Super-Fast
To elaborate on a point made above. Speed is what sets EtherFlyer apart from the centralized exchanges. It promises to do this through “hardware-accelerated and memory matching technology”. This promises to increase transaction speed by more than a thousand-fold, thereby outpacing the present system that subjects people to waiting long periods for their transactions to be completed. Talk about watching paint dry.
3) Flexible and Adaptable and Built for expansion
This technology also works well on all major Windows browsers, namely: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, IE. Add IOS and Android phones to that, and the potential user has so many options available. Plus, it supports all major EtherWallets. This is welcomed news in a space that keeps growing. Just last month over 100, 000 people joined the crypto world. We are still in the innovator stage. The early adopter stage is not far away. Naturally, more people will be seeking to get on exchanges.
EtherFlyer is built for expansion
This means it will be able to handle the traffic that will accompany the early adopter stage and beyond. But it doesn’t end there as EtherFlyer will also seek to include coins that are presently incompatible with Ethereum. Therefore, one won’t have to be scratching one’s head, thinking about where to put one’s Litecoin, BTC, DASH etc. This, as far as I can see, is quite revolutionary, seeing that it will be the first to integrate technology and bring otherwise incompatible coins together.
